The third-year students’ tapestry exhibition „Sinu minu meie ei ole sama“ (“Your Mine Ours is Not the Same”), featuring Sigre Kodasma, Hanna-Maria Org, Grete Ottis, and Liisi Tasso, complemented by works from the department’s methodological collection. The students were mentored by Aet Ollisaar.

Third-year students of the Pallas Textile Department explore the word “place” and reflect it in their works. Each of them has based their work on a literary piece and found their own place within it. Just as people are different, so are the students’ places and their interpretations. The exhibited works reveal connections between specific locations, moments, and emotions.

A tapestry design created by fourth-year students for the Estonian Book Year, with contributions from Sofia Lanman, Marite Rikkas, Inger Tammela, and Kristiin Kuuslap. The idea and texts were created by Mart Jagomägi and Krista Aru. The students were mentored by textile department lecturer Marju Roos, and the project was led by Aet Ollisaar.

The tapestry will be embroidered and expanded throughout the year at many public libraries in Estonian counties.
