Aet Ollisaar introduces the students’ exhibition as follows: “A human being is an open system. Biologically, this means a constant exchange of energy and matter, but this way of functioning carries through into every aspect of our lives. It is a continuous exchange of information with the environment around us. Some sources of information are concrete – visible and readable. These are easy to analyse and interpret, and today machines do much of that work for us. But there are also those we feel, touch and experience. What are the senses that separate the artificial from the human?”
